We are actively seeking a candidate to take on a Team lead role to be responsible for functional delivery in all areas of project work related to Oracle's HCM applications. This position will need to lead project team members, define the processes, and act as Subject Matter Expert for Human Resources (HR), Advanced Benefits, Compensation Workbench, iRecruitment, Learning Management, Payroll, Oracle Time and Labor; including Self Service (SSHR) functionality (employee and manager self service). Knowledge of Web ADI, Discoverer, Fast Formulas, System Administration, SQL is a plus. This person will closely engage with key client personnel and participate in all areas of the implementation life-cycle.
Who
The HCM Consultant will report to the e-Business Practice Director and will interact with all SmartDog Services consultants, subcontractors and many customers.

What
The HCM Consultant will be responsible for providing expertise to Oracle ERP projects in the area of Oracle HRMS, as well as providing pre-sales support as a subject matter expert.
Where
We are hiring employees based in the major cities in Texas. We are also open to considering employees in the central time zone on a case by case basis. This is a 100% travel position, however, much of our business is regional, so there is a likelihood that travel will be regional or in some cases in your home city.
When
This is a full-time, salaried employee position, and we have an immediate opening, so we will hire as soon as we identify the right person.
Experience Level
5 - 7 years of experience with Oracle required. At least 4 of those years should be working with the Oracle HRMS Applications, and qualified candidates will have experience in at least 3 full-cycle Oracle Applications implementation projects.
Functional skills
Oracle HCM (Senior Consultant) - Deep knowledge and hands-on design and configuration with Oracle 11i (preferably including 11.5.10+) and R12 including a substantive mix of the following Modules:
- Advanced Benefits, Payroll, Oracle Time and Labor
- Knowledge of Web ADI, Discoverer, Fast Formulas, System Administration, SQL is a plus.
Consulting Skills
- Strong analytical skills for effective problem solving
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting existing installations is strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgments
- Good client presence
- Work well with teams or in a team environment
- Prior consulting experience is preferred
Education
BS or BA or equivalent work experience
