Purpose of the Position
We are actively seeking a candidate to take on a support consultant role to be responsible for working inbound support requests in our Austin-based Oracle Support Center. This position requires extensive functional experience with Oracle E-Business software. This person should enjoy interacting with customers, problem solving, and taking the resolution to the next level by providing value-added insights to our customers. The Support Center Consultant will work primarily from the Austin Solution Center, but will have opportunities to work on projects at customer locations to build skills, to interact with customers, and to transition development work to production support. Experience with multiple product areas of Oracle’s E-Business suite of applications is required.

We are seeking individuals with following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong experience across a broad spectrum of Oracle applications
  • Prefer experience in call center/solutions center environments
  • Functional experience with at least two (2) of the following skill set areas: Financials, Order Management, Supply Chain/Manufacturing, HCM, CRM
  • Communication skills: strong written and verbal communication, must communicate easily and effectively with all levels within an organization.
  • Must have strong customer relationship management experience.
  • General consulting skills, including: team facilitation, business case development, and supply chain assessment / strategy.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Must live and work in Austin, Texas
Responsibilities:
  • Work Oracle E-Business trouble tickets to resolution.
  • Track customer issues and develop solutions.
  • Interact with technical resources.
  • Monitor work queues.
  • Interact with customers in regard to work requests.
