Oracle Financial Suite - Solutions Architect

Required skills: Oracle Applications R12/11i , Financial Suite, full life cycle implementation Purpose of the Position

We are actively seeking an Accounting professional to take on a Lead role responsible for architecting and implementing functional solutions within the Oracle Financials Suite of products. This individual will use experience and knowledge of sound Oracle-enabled accounting principles to advise client sponsor in solution design and business process transformation. Experience implementing Oracle E-Business Financials modules is required. This person will closely engage with key client personnel and participate in all areas of the implementation life-cycle, as well as use their knowledge of accounting and Oracle technology to identify new sales opportunities within their practice area for existing clients and potential customers.

The ideal candidate is a CPA/Controller level manager with direct oversight of an Oracle Financials environment, or an Oracle IT Manager/Consultant with strong Accounting education and experience.

We are seeking individuals with following skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Certified Public Accountants preferred
  • 5+ years of Oracle Financial Suite expertise, including implementation/configuration
  • Prefer experience in global multi-org environment with some experience with multi-currency reporting
  • Oracle AIM method deliverables, including the BR100
  • Sound knowledge of Oracle-enabled accounting functionality
  • Communication skills: strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written)
  • Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation
  • Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support
  • General consulting skills, including: project scoping, client facilitation, team leading, and deliverable creation
  • Account management/Business Development: identify new business opportunities, work existing accounts to deepen relationships, develop strategies to identify potential new business opportunities for Financials practice area
  • Project management: lead small teams of 1 - 3 resources (both consulting and client employees)
  • Ability to travel up to 100%
Technical Skills needed:
  • Oracle Applications configuration
  • Strong Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Project and Visio
